What is the cancellation policy of Sumangal Banaras ?

  • The order can be cancelled within 24 hrs of placing the order and the customer has not opted for any customization of the product.

  • A refund equivalent to the purchase price less banking charges would be refunded to the given bank account.

  • The refund might take 3-5 days after the refund is initiated depending on the bank.

What is the return policy of Sumangal?

  • The return of the products is allowed within 5 days of receiving the product.

  • To return a product, customer needs to send an email to sales@sumangalbanaras.com with the order ID, bank account details and reason for return should be mentioned in the email. Other kinds of contact mode including message, call or social media will not be considered valid for return.

  • Once the product is received by us, a standard quality check is done, and if the product is in salesable condition, then only it is considered for return.

  • The return process would then be initiated and a refund equivalent to the purchase price less banking charges would be refunded to the given bank account.
  • The refund might take 3-5 days after the refund is initiated depending on the bank.
  • The product being returned must be in its original unused condition and sent along with original bill and tags intact.

  • Please note, return will only be done online and not in our offline stores.
  • Any customised products (such as fall pico or tassles) will not be applicable for return.

What is the exchange policy of Sumangal Banaras ?

  •  The exchange of the products are allowed in case the product does not satisfy the customer's need and no customization of the product has been asked for.
  • You can get it exchanged for any other product on the website with equivalent or higher price.
  • Kindly note, the products will only be exchanged online and not on offline stores.
  • For the initiation of exchange, the customer has to email on sales@sumangalbanaras.com within 5 days of the delivery of order.
  • Further the company will initiate the exchange process and a reverse pick up would be arranged.
  • The product being exchanged must be in its original unused condition as all products are handwoven and delicate, so it must be in the same condition as sent else it would lead to cancellation of the exchange request.
  • The product should be sent along with original bill and tags intact in the original packing.
  • After the completion of exchange, the customer can place a new order of the same product (if available) or different product of same value or higher.
